Clare Fieseler is a Junior Fellow in Ocean and Coastal Policy. She currently directs the Marine Ecosystem Services Partnership (MESP) project, a collaborative project between Duke’s Marine Geospatial Ecology Lab and the Nicholas Institute. MESP serves to spatially map the growing body of economic valuation data concerning marine ecosystems, particularly coral reefs. Clare is also working on the Institute’s Marine Spatial Planning project with Duke faculty member Dr. Larry Crowder. She holds a Masters of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelors of Science from Georgetown University.
