a rising second year MEM student studying coastal environmental management at the Nicholas School. Originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio, she graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, with a BA in biology. Before coming to the Nicholas School, Sarah worked as a research assistant in pulmonary medicine at the Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, and as a conservation intern at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife. While working as conservation intern, Sarah interviewed over 1,000 anglers on the shores of Lake Erie.
Outside of school, Sarah likes going camping, swimming, biking, developing her musical skills, and spending time with her two cats.
