Playtime at the Fountain
by -- June 28th, 2013

Usually, what I really want is for the animals at the camera traps to pause and stand still. Every so often, however, the cameras catch a bit of behavior. Sometimes it’s a relief to stop worrying about the quality of the data and just enjoy what brought me out to Africa in the first place:

A pair of black-backed jackals play by a fountain on the Neuras Wine & Wildlife Estate, Namibia.

Everybody likes a game of tag.
