Yesterday, at approximately 3:30 pm local time, we set sail from Manzanillo – marking the start of our 35 day research expedition. Currently, we are 20 hours into our 3.5 day transit to the Cocos-Nazca spreading center. So far, the weather has been beautiful, the food has been excellent, and the crew has been great!
