About Allie

Allie is a junior majoring in Environmental Sciences and Policy with minors in Earth and Ocean Sciences and Education. Within her studies, she is most intrigued by food and agricultural systems as well as environmental education. In Blue Devil Food for Thought, she seeks to explore all angles of student life as an undergraduate at Duke and in the Nicholas School, considering everything from classes/programs and internships all the way to Duke basketball, extracurriculars and eating at Duke. When she is not in class, she is working in Charlotte Clark’s Environmental Education Lab as a summary writer, helping put on the Duke University Science Olympiad Invitational, working with the First-year Advisory Counselor program to influence the first-year experience, deliberating dining issues with the Student Dining Advisory Committee, or racing with the Club Ski Team.
