Greetings from Asia’s greenest city.

I am winding up a weeklong stay in Singapore. The city has a lot going for it, including being labeled Asia’s greenest city. (See here, here and here.)

Is that a modern-day Noah’s ark atop the world’s most expensive hotel?

Does Singapore deserve the enviro accolades? I’ll take a closer look later in the week. But a couple of things are for sure. The picture above is clear evidence that when it comes to sea-level rise at least, the Singaporeans have got a plan. And I’d better get my tongue out of my cheek before I try to pass through security at the airport tomorrow.
