Helping Local Burmese Refugees

I love traveling, but occasionally it becomes disheartening when I cannot help all of the issues I see out here. Transplanting Traditions Community Farm (TTCF) is a great local farm in Carrboro. Current funding is expiring, and TTCF needs new funding to continue assisting the two dozen Burmese refugee families. TTCF provides education, free farm resources, and fresh food.  Many of the families also hope to one day start their own farm in North Carolina.
This is an opportunity to put the maxim “think globally, act locally” into action. If TTCF raises $4,000 in the next nine days an anonymous donor will match the $15,000 total raised. Check out the work they’re doing, and donate here:
