Xepe Coosot, The Sea of the Comcaac (Seri)

Here is a video about the Seri created by Thor Morales and Fernando Lopez. Our class is going to Punta Chueca to visit the Seri and camp on the island Tiburon for 2 nights with Seri guides.

The Infiernillo Channel is located in the state of Sonora, Mexico. It´s the strait formed between the Isla del Tiburon (the biggest of Mexico) and the central coast of Sonora. Surrounded by the Sonoran Desert, it is a marine oasis. For more than 2,000 years the Comcaac (Seri) ethnic group has lived around it, is part of their actual territory and is one of the most important wetlands in the Gulf of California. This video intends to be an introductory window to the region.
Hope you enjoy it.
