Gulf of California

by -- April 18th, 2012

As I put this video clip together, I tried to capture the vast ecological diversity that the Gulf of California contains.  Throughout the trip I was amazed by the stark contrast of the harsh desert spanning a coastline full of lush marine environments.  The variety of natural scenery the ocean and the land offered was breath taking.  I wanted to show how full of life this part of the world is, with so many desert and marine animals displaying a curious vibrancy that is not often witnessed by humanity.  The clip outlines an adventure through a world of extremes that offered our class insight into the natural diversity of Mexico, providing us with unforgettable experiences.
