Day 2: Sesame Street Part One

Who is the Big Bird of the Palo Verde Wetland?

The big bird is the Jabiru; (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabiru) at approximately 80 cm (3ft), he stands 30 cm (12 inches) taller than the rest of the 75 or so individuals we see feeding first thing Sunday morning. There in the wetlands wood storks, white ibis, and black bellied whistling ducks were just a few of those having breakfast. I can’t wait to find out what we will see from the boat.
