Good COP, Bad COP

Gore’s rallying cry

Al Gore tried to rally his base

At a cocktail last night, Al Gore tried to rally a saddened environmental community to action.  He called for negotiations to resume in July instead of December, and for the U.S. Senate to have an Earth Day deadline for a bill.

I thought the most poignent comment was about his organization, the Alliance for Climate Protection.  Gore said that it was a temporary organization that was to expire when the U.S. had passed a bill and a treaty was signed.  He said, “we already have a plan for dissolution, and I’m anxious to put it into action.”
