A major row seems to be underway.

There is a major plenary session (chaired by the Danish PM who has taken over as President of the Conference). Apparently, countries negotiated late into the night yesterday on  long-term commitments. At the plenary going on right now, it sounds like the Danish are putting forward new text as the basis for negotiations – text that is not the output of the work of the negotiators. China, India, and Brazil, and the G77 are vehemently objecting (only the Maldives has come out in support) but the Danish PM is trying to move on it. But now the telecast has been cut of, so not sure what is going on …
