Field trip to learn about forest management in Denmark.

On Monday Shana and I participated in a field trip with the Danish ministry of the environment to learn about how they are managing forests in Denmark.  Denmark has no virgin forest, and very little of the country is forested, but they are aiming to double the amount of forest between now and 2100.  While learning about the Danish approach to forest management was interesting itself, even more interesting was being on a bus full of people who are doing work related to forests and climate change and talking to them about what they are working on and about how a climate agreement will or should incorporate forests.

Here are some pictures I took during the trip.
